IMHO the very first thing a new coach needs to after the presser is head to Morrilton and visit with Criswell.

The dude is an incredible player and wanted to play at Arkansas badly. He chose to go to NC because the writing was on the wall. He wasn't sought out much by Chard, because of his boy.

I heard today that he is very interested in our new coach and waiting on an offer. FWIW.

So, two years in a row Chard went a different direction. Nolan (who is now baseball only) chosen 1st year and his son the next. I don't have a problem with his boy, but you definitely go after Criswell from being in state with his talent period.

Can we have another Petrino/Tyler Wilson situation brewing here for the new coach?

Kiff didn't follow this kid for no reason. Hell, he's basically actively recruiting already.

Its why I think If he is indeed the guy, even if he makes the conference title game, he could come to Arkansas a week early to get the jump on recruits

Kiffin is the biggest troll on twitter. Imagine taking anything he does on it as serious.
