LSU is playing the same maximum schedule as everyone else. From my memory, 2000, 2001, 2004, 2005 were all 11 game seasons. Starting in 2006, 12 game seasons were the norm. LSU also lost 2 OOC games, Mcneese State in 2015 and the 2016 UAB game that was cancelled to get the Florida game played. We lost 2 OOC games where we were favored heavily.

So 2000-2009 had a few less games after considering all that, but not as much difference as I was expecting.
Very impressive consistency.

11 regular season games in 00 and 01, 12 reg. in 02 and 03, 11 in 04 and 05, and 12 from 06 onward.
