I don’t have a problem with open admission at all. As a state flagship and public institution, it seems reasonable to improve access to Kentucky citizens. I would be more concerned if the graduation rate was also the highest, implying they aren’t having to earn their degree. That is definitely not the case. Graduation rates are as follows:

This is old data. Alabama's six year grad rate is now 72%, which is still not great, but it is better than 65%.
