Mississippi State actually is a pretty good school, especially the engineering program. All the smart kids go to state and the dumbasses go to Ole Miss.

Not really. Those are America's two dumbest states. Of course they have to reject a lot of applicants.

Alabama is milking the OOS market so less Alabama kids actually get in. Lots of kids from the northeast from what I hear.

The State numbers are embarrassing for Ole Miss considering their enrollment is nearly identical. Lots more kids applying to State than OM.

Mizzou is a shocker. I always thought they were considered a decent school.

Why? Alabama admits more elite students (ACT of 32 or higher) than any other SEC school, save for A&M.
