Bama has some sweating to do and hope for complete carnage!
lol... Bama has a weight off of their backs.

All they can do is play their schedule at this point. A path is there for the CFPs, but a New Years 6 game would be nice as well.

That said, complete carnage is not a requirement. For example, if OU loses to Baylor and then wins the Big 12 (feasible) while either Oregon or Utah win the PAC with 2 losses, and LSU wins the SEC... Bama is in.

Personally, I dont think they deserve it. Woefully unprepared at home in the first half vs LSU. Good adjustments, and Tua stepped up once in rhythm and a whole lot of pain. But, they simply gave too many points, opportunities and miscues to LSU. Not a championship team. Next year will be worse. But, 2021 is setting up for a strong, very competitive team.

Personally, I'm okay with that, as are many fellow Bama fans.

to LSU and O. Hope they take it all the way... assuming Bama doesn't slip into the playoffs

I 100% agree with you on your scenarios. My comments were only directed at if, and only if, Oregon is a “one” loss PAC-12 champ that the committee will reward Rob Mullins for his Chairmanship and jump Oregon over Bama.
