It depends on a lot.
Already the NCAA has showed no spine, so it will definitely be more of a free market. It's like the portal - all you have to do to play the next year in the portal is lawyer up. I mean, there was definitely no legitimate reason for Martell, Fields, etc to start this year
They just hired lawyers, and the NCAA caved.
The really interesting question is what is it going to do to team dynamics? Playing time becomes incredibly important, and schools will be less able to stack talent because everyone wants to play and get some of that money
