The thing that gets me is.. Bama fans try to use being the most penalized team in the league as evidence that they don’t get favorable calls. Maybe it’s just evidence that they commit the most penalties? They have certainly had ridiculous talent over the years and have been well coached with respect to position responsibilities. But they haven’t been the beacon of team discipline that they were in Saban’s younger years. See this infamous non-call as an example:



When you look at that can you really be surprised about being the most penalized team in the league?
