I remember all too well. However, I believe Saban now has the longest streak in college football of not losing to an unranked team and it’s not even close. The last one was La Monroe in 2007.

If Bama does lose a game, it’s to a team good enough to be ranked. Sure, there have been some close calls like Ricky Block, but Bama finds a way. That’s probably the most impressive streak Saban has, bar none. Dabo has at least one close call annually to an unranked team and several ended in losses. That’s the difference.
