No one is forcing the surgery on the players who choose to have it. It's presented as an option, one that has worked well with no ill effects in the past. If the players want to have the surgery to heal faster, that's up to them, not a bunch of bleeding vaginas on a message board who are feigning concern over player safety to constantly troll the board.

Question - a surgery like this has to be extremely expensive. Is the university allowed to pay for that, is it on the student athlete, or is this something that is built into the scholarship budget?
