I'd just like to add a bit of objectivity to the offense ceiling. I want a young innovative OC like the next guy no doubt.

But the receivers haven't developed as advertised. Landers is still more basketball than football player. Simmons has possibly gotten worse in 4 years when he was already avg. at best.

There are only 5 receivers you should count on to actually produce consistently right now. One is going to be out several weeks and the other is just coming back from being out several weeks. Three of which are freshmen so the wr corps needs alot more depth and talent to be on par with Bama and LSU.

Sad to say, but Hardman, Ridley, and Holloman leaving earlier than expected fricked up this current unit. Just one of these dudes would have helped immensely, Hardman being the burner to compliment the offense.

Tongue and Blount could get more snaps, but how more effective will they be than Simmons and Landers tho. Some leakage coming from the OL too with Cade Mays and Trey Hill at center. He has thighs like ham hocks where it affects his general mobility. They should give Ericson some snaps just in case Hill gets injured and a series or two to see where he's at.

Long winded post but imagine adding one of the talented TEs from next year's class and a guy like Rosemy to the existing roster. Then again, Fromm is probably outta here in a few months...
