I would agree with you on that point. I would also throw a couple of other schools in there based on the criteria that you mention. Nebraska is one and Purdue (Layafette, IN) is another. The only thing that Purdue has going for it is the proximity to a huge metro area like Chicago. But the immediate area is a dystopian depressing meth capital. I was actually shocked that Purdue was able to keep Brohm. But they are having a really bad year to this point.

Reason for that is the school recently build a new sport facility! One of the better ones in the country.
