But he won't lose to any of those teams. 8-4 is our absolute floor this year. It's also pretty much what this board predicted given the schedule and our inexperience at the QB position.

Is it a disappointing enough outcome to make a change that will set us back some $35 million or so upfront? Not my decision to make.

I'm still of the opinion that we improve through the rest of the season and pick up a win in one of our rivalry games, and win our bowl to finish 10-3. But that's probably wishful thinking, and we'll still face a major rebuild next year, although the schedule is significantly easier.
