Very close! I was born in '94.

While true that Alabama is the best program in history, y'all were in a serious drought after '92. Saban brought your program back from irrelevancy. He is the man who cemented BAMA's legacy as the sole greatest CFB program since this beautiful sport's conception in the late 19th century.

I stand by my claim: Saban made BAMA. Not the other way around.

How can this be true:

quote:

Saban made BAMA. Not the other way around.

And this also be true:

quote:

Saban brought your program back from irrelevancy. He is the man who cemented BAMA's legacy as the sole greatest CFB program since this beautiful sport's conception in the late 19th century.

If Saban "made" Bama, there wouldn't have been a history there for him to build on. He made LSU. He did not make Bama.

No, that is not a truthful statement. Alabama was the very best college football team America had ever witnessed before Saban arrived.

Switch to another topic.

NS helped rebuild Bama but he did not make Bama. Just like the next coach at ND will help rebuild what their past 4-5 coaches couldn't do.
