re: Nick Saban at LSU compared to Nick Saban at Alabama

The selective memories of this thread are awesome. Growing up in the '90s and '00s, which I consider the modern era of CFB, Alabama was on the same plane as any other top-half SEC team. My generation hated AU and UF more and everyone made fun of the worship of Bryant. The best thing you ever had happen to you since '92 was Prothro's catch against USM. Yall could have just as well hired Rich Rodriguez in 2006 and your program could be Tennessee over the past 15 years. It's going to be very enjoyable to see what happens when you revert to your modern-era mean when Saban leaves.
