Where to even start with this?

quote:

Not really, SECN was the most successful launch. ACC is struggling with their launch. Will probably beat out PACN but texas is one school and has a better deal than the ACC.

Here'a shocker for you - when a team does well and gets invited to the CFP, it makes a lot of money for the conference as well. Same with bowl games. The network isn't the only way a conference earns money. Granted, as a UofSC fan I wouldn't expect you to know this, so we'll let that slide.

quote:

I feel pretty cool for them. They have used that SEC money to upgrade their sports and offer competitive M and W sports across the SECN spectrum. They earn their keep and not a single sport school like Clemson.

You and the other five dudes who pretend to like WBB notwithstanding, women's athletics don't bring money to conferences. It's great that you enjoy it, but WBB doesn't register with the average sports fan. You know this.

quote:

They are in a conference where it is easy to be the football alpha.

So easy. Tell us the story of why UofSC only won it once then. I mean, they're an SEC team, so they probably have a great history of dominating football across the ages, as you would have everyone believe about all of the SEC programs.

I love the whining about schedules. If you think your schedule is too tough and unfair, quit or get better. You can't have it both ways.

Great win for Pitt. Loved the 2 point conversion play.
If UVA can pull off a stunner in South Bend that'll be another one. They gotta shot ND coming off emotional game with GA.

Women’s sports don’t bring much to the table at a vast majority of schools and he knows that. Right now he’s hanging his hat on that until Kentucky basketball starts.
