He takes a team that is historically worse than SC, in the middle of nowhere, with few athletes and QB’s with less talent and builds an amazing offense, defense might not be great but I’d rather win games 60-50 than lose them 20-17

Not me. Sorry, but I just don't like the guy.

And I live in Pac-12 Country.

I think Mike leach ha's Asperburgers or something similar. He's brilliant, but weird. Those that know him say he only has about 3-4 running plays and 5-6 passing plays.

The biggest thing is he's never recruited SEC country.

He would be worse here than Muschamp.

Matt Campbell would be my first pick. I also like Jason Candle, Mike Norvell, and Kliff Kingsbury. As a wild card, I like Gundy at OKST. What are the chances of any of these happening? Probably zero.

Exactly where he needs to be. He's an NFL guy. Can't handle everything involved with a college program, as we've seen in Lubbock.

Fair enough. I just like the fact he is young, and could be good for our QBs. Defense would be an issue though for sure.

He’s never coming back to college
Even if he fails with arizona he’ll make a living as an OC in then NFL
And that’s just a better job

Same.
I actually just don’t think he would mix with our fanbase/boosters/alumni

I just feel like we can’t be successful with a defensive coach. Every time we’ve had success it’s been with a creative unusual offense

Matt Campbell would be my first choice, but I think there is a 2% chance he comes here. More than likely we are going to go after a coordinator somewhere from a middle of the road program. I don't think that would really help though. We need someone that will inject some energy into this program. Kinda like PJ Fleck, except not Fleck because I don't think he would do well in the SEC. I wish we had an alumni, with some good credentials that could step in. We need a Gamecock, who wants to be here.

I agree with that too.
I want an offense guy.
Other than Bama the national title winner head coaches have been Offensive guys

I just don’t think leach will work well with us
That’s not on him, that’s what we already have

I want Matt Rhule from Baylor, but if PSU tires of James Franklin I suspect he would be their first call

I have no idea if Franklin would come here, but that would be a good fit I think. He has the big name recognition, and has had success in the SEC.

Not really sure PSU would fire him though

He’s been really good there

The fact is we have a horrible coaching staff but something that is being overlooked is we really dont have great talent. We have, maybe, a handful of players that MIGHT start at other SEC schools.
Jimmies and joes are more important than x&o but what sucks is when you don't have either.
