It's not about pass first, it's about balance.
The Texas D is unproven after losing so many starters and LSU didn't run for more than 100 yards as a team. Now, if Texas shows through the year they are better than expected, then this win sticks out even more. All TBD. But Burrow took #2 spot for rushing attempts, no Emery sighting.
If y'all can run through the schedule passing only, more power to you. I just see the Alabama's of the world being able to match up with that and making you 1 dimensional and not by choice.

I don't think this game is as much about Alabama's defense as it will be LSU's defense. They gave up a ton of points to Texas and I think Tua and company are a much better offensive team than Texas. Stopping Tua is the key to this game.

no Emery sighting.
True freshmen RBs need to learn how to pick up the blitz in a pass first offense.
He'll be playing more by November.
But then LSU returns the RB that gained 145 yards on 19 carries against UGA last year, Clyde, "The Glide" Edwards-Helaire. I'm thinking he hasn't forgotten how to run the ball.
