I think there was a bit of an overreaction from everyone. We normally have an ugly game like that early in the season:
2018: week 2 loss against UK
2017: week 1 loss against Michigan
2016: week 1 struggle against UMASS, leading only 10-7 at the half
2015: week 2 struggle against ECU.
If we see the same mistakes next game I’ll be concerned.

Lot's of teams looked probably worse than they are the first week, so I was never all that worried. Playing a rivalry game for not only the season opener for the team but for college football is a pretty good recipe for watching two teams coming out and looking like crap.
I'm waiting for the UK and UT games to really make a call on how good or bad we may be.
