We literally have 3 weeks til we face Kentucky.

Some fans need to pump the brakes. We always overreact as a fan base and it’s disgusting.

Franks was garbage. But Mullen will use that game to show him what he needs to improve the next few weeks. And hopefully gets him to stop interacting with the crowd and keep his head in the game.

I have faith in Mullen. We may not beat LSU or Georgia based on what I saw, but we have time to fix things. It was the first game for crying out loud. We make tons of mistakes in the first game, but usually face a crap opponent, so it gets masked a bit.

Let’s please put our faith in Mullen. If Franks is still this terrible by say, LSU, then yeah,
Mullen needs to get Emory Jones going.

We won, and we’re on a 5 game winning streak. Let that sink in, guys. This team will have some growing pains.

Agreed. Though one issue I cant shake...the arrogance of the players. Franks taunting the crowd and trash talking cameras. Running over to smack talk every tackle by our defenders. I believe it was Houston or Miller had the late hit out of bounds..and is smirking as Mullen talks to him...what in the frick was that?!

All the other shite can get fixed for the most part...but that behavior was kind ofembarrassing. Being confident is one thing. We looked arrogant...and with that performance really didnt deserve to be.

Hopefully a lot of sprints are run and we come out a little more humble in two weeks.

I knew that Franks would struggle. But he was supposed to have matured.

Showboating after scoring a 2 yard TD, mugging in the camera, talking shite to fans, punting the ball in the stands.

And the worst - Actually telling ESPN he was throwing the ball away on the 2nd INT?

Hes a headcase, and he hasn't matured at all since his RS freshman year starting.

The OL played well in pass protection. I believe they can get better at run blocking, which should be easier to improve than pass blocking.

The DL is really good. The secondary, aside from Hendo and Davis was very suspect at tackling and playing coverage. So many bone headed penalties.

The LBs were better than I expected, with both Miller and Houston looking very good. Houston was an idiot for getting that roughing penalty on their kicker.

My opinion on the skill players hasn't changed. They are very good.

Mullen's playcalls were extremely weird and full of no rhythm or flow to the game (perhaps a lot of that was due to turnovers). But still no touches for Toney after the first few drives other than the 1 reverse where he lost yardage?

Almost forgetting we have a very good WR core? Barely using the TEs?

Last night was an absolute abomination. Luckily MOST of that can be fixed.

But the biggest question mark is not the OL anymore. Its Franks. Its always been Franks.

If he plays like that, we WILL lose at least 4 games minimum. You can take that to the bank.
