My Preseason LSU Prediction

7-5. This prediction comes with a question. We know that LSU isn't going to tolerate a 5 loss season, but there's a problem. We also know that LSU Football is flat broke and has to ask the Governor for money all the time.
So, when they fire Ed Orgeron this year are they going to get the Governor to pony up for a big name coach or do you guys think they'll ask Les Miles back? I bet Miles would come back for a reasonable sum.

Could happen. Brutal schedule. They have the 3 teams they lost to last year plus shorthorns. Add in a loss to Auburn and things could get ugly.

Well, they're gonna lose to Texas, Bama, and Arkansas like for sure. Auburn is on the upswing I hear too. Then you got the Mississippi schools. LSU could be staring at 6-6, but I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt. I think they'll get one of the two Mississippi schools.

You know, the more I think on this Will Wade becoming the football coach thing, the more I like the sound of it.
They may be able to kill two birds with one stone here. Get him out from under the FBI investigation by giving him a different job. It could work too if you consider how Ole Miss turned a girls volleyball coach into a football coach.
Apparently a good coach is a good coach no matter the sport. I think they should consider it.

Plus, it gives the football team money from local childrens hospitals. Its a win win win for the tigers. Maybe they should hire me to be AD?

Well, none of this is going to work if they don't get rid of both the Governor and the AD both, so I don't see why they wouldn't at least consider it.
