That’s the NCAA for ya.

UNC runs an entire fake school and barely gets a slap on the wrist, while Bruce Pearl gets a show cause over a fricking barbecue.

You gotta go big or get rekt. Is your whole operation a fraud? Cause they can’t penalize you for being who you are, only for being inconsistent. You’ve got to commit to being a complete piece of shite, drain on society and embarrassment to accredited institutions everywhere.

Bruce Pear should have just been like “yeah, they came over and we had a cookout and there were strippers and blow and we may have prank called some other coaches at other schools and pantsed the school president and laughed at how small his junk is but we’ve been doing that at tennessee for forever, it’s tradition and a direct result of our university mission to not give a frick about anything ever”

At that point they’re just like “well so long as every other student is encouraged to not give a frick then I think we have a closed case here”

Bruce got a show cause for LYING about the bbq, not for having a bbq.
