I’m not sure one has to be a featured back for someone to make an assessment of their game.

To me, it just seems like he has a little bit too much hype entering this season. I feel the same way about Moses and all the 1st team preseason all American lists he’s on.

I’ll be rooting my arse off for them to be great. And will still pull for them even if they aren’t. It’s just an opinion. Do I have to think every Alabama player is the best?

Well maybe he's getting more hyped that I know of. I honestly quit watching all those "experts" years ago. They say the same things every year and just switch the person they are hyping out like it's madlibs.

We could probably make a list of Trent Dilfer saying X QB is the best he's ever worked with etc. Every year it's someone new.

But as far as being a 5 star RB and all that, then I'm not sure what's expected. He's averaging over 6 yards a carry and hasn't lost a fumble once in nearly 200 carries thus far in his career.

Last year he ran for over 700 yards while being 3rd on the depth chart, behind 2 RBs that just got drafted - 1 of them in the 1st round.

Seems like he's been a great teammate who has been patient and who does what's asked of him. I don't see him in the news for negative reasons.

The only thing that stands out is he hasn't been taking many receptions out of the backfield. I'm not sure how good his pass blocking is either, as I don't normally pay a whole bunch of attention to such things unless it just really sticks out(probably for bad reasons).

So I just don't understand what more could be expected from him at this point. He's been a great addition to the team.
