1965.....and the late 70's / early 80's were the tits! Great music, good drugs, as a kid you could do just about anything you damn well pleased as long as it didn't make too much noise and attract the attention of an adult....I'd go for days in the summer without being indoors when the sun was up and wouldn't speak to anyone older than 17 unless I was spoken to someone older than that....just left to do what we damn well pleased....smoking, drinking, hunting, fishing, terrorizing the neighborhood on dirt bikes...trying to get laid...claiming to have been laid so many times we couldn't count...it was the bomb. Kids nowadays would wind up in a foster home and their parents would be in jail for neglect if they allowed their kids to do for an hour what we did all day everyday....
