also had around a .250 career BA. I also wouldn't call 434 homeruns "almost 500." He would have needed 5 more seasons to reach 500 at the rate he was hitting homeruns at the tail end of his career. Fred McGriff has a much better case for the HOF.

Lol. AJ was the best CF of his generation AND he hit 434 HR. Who cares how his career ended? Lots of Hall of Famers sucked as they got old.

Do what? You have any idea how many runs he saved?Ask Glavine,Smoltz or Maddux who deserved the HOF more.
