A throwaway numbers thread (aka: a weak attempt at breaking up a bit of the recent troll threads).

1. Ohio St .744 (29-10)
2. Oklahoma St .684 (26-12)
3. UL-Lafayette .643 (27-15)
4. Clemson .639 (23-13)
5. LSU** .636 (28-16)
6. Michigan St .630 (29-17)
7. Auburn** .628 (27-16)
8. Northwestern .627 (32-19)
9. Cincinnati .625 (20-11)
9. Alabama** .625 (15-9)
11. South Carolina** .620 (31-19)

The volume of 7-point games Ohio St has been in over the last decade and the rate at which they win is wild.

Notre Dame has been in the most 7-point games in the nation in the last decade (58). They are 32-26 in those games.

I gotta admit, I'm having trouble spotting the troll here.

ETA: Oh THERE it is.

So you're saying we're better than Auburn and Alabama? I'll take it.

I have to tip my hat to the Ragin' Cajuns. They certainly know how to pull close games out of the fire.

Going to go ahead and finish this out:

All SEC teams
1. LSU 0.636 (28-16)
2. Auburn 0.628 (27-16)
3. Alabama 0.625 (15-9)
4. South Carolina 0.620 (31-19)
5. Florida 0.588 (20-14)
6. Georgia 0.522 (24-22)
7. Mississippi St 0.514 (18-17)
7. Missouri 0.514 (19-18)
9. Kentucky 0.500 (21-21)
9. Texas A&M 0.500 (24-24)
11. Vanderbilt 0.436 (17-22)
12. Tennessee .395 (15-23)
13. Arkansas 0.375 (15-25)
14. Ole Miss 0.367 (11-19)

If you’re wondering: yes, Alabama has played in the fewest 7-point games in the nation over the last decade.

I, for one, am jealous of you bastards for that fact alone. Meanwhile, all the rest of us have had months, if not years, taken off of our lives due to heartbreaking losses and/or close wins.
