Why the difference between BB and Football ? Should be weighted the same.

Men's Basketball doesn't get popular until the NCAA Tournament. Every single game in College Football is popular.
Now certainly the argument could be made that the postseason for college basketball as a whole is more popular than the postseason for college football. But it isn't by much. And really for the most part football has just always just been that sport.
