Evidently you are just a troll. He listed them and you stated none had played a down. That's Wrong. Peters is the #3 saftey in the nation coming out of Juco. Brian Cole, Landrews, and Morgan all played in every game last year.

In fact, I don't see a Safety that was not a top 5.

As to the DL:

Fletcher Adams, Rivers, Spencer, Jones... All 4 star with a ton of experience. Spencer was to be a starter and draft pick last year. Played 12 games as a True Fr, played 13 as a So. He missed the last 9 games and had surgery for an upper body injury.

They added a transfer to sure up that line too. They also have Freshman BEAST in Pickering... they won't keep that kid off the field. He is another Chris Jones for them.

Their LBs are sick!

Anybody that has watched recruiting and this defense over the past 5 years knows that Defense is not depleted at all.

It helps the corners GREATLY when they have a fierce pass rush generated by the Dline. Where will that pressure come from this year?

Sweet Jesus.... First, not all pressure comes from the DL. That's a little naive. Second, from the same guys that were doing it last year. Yes some went pro. But that defense was very deep and rotated often with no drop off.

That's a very seasoned group. All Juniors and Seniors.

Get your head in the game. OK.
My post about players not playing a down for state last year was about four specific players that a state fan listed.

fred peters - juco signee in '19. Now you tell me how many snaps did he play for state last year?

jarrion jones and nathan pickering - '19 class signees. how much PT did they get in starkvegas last year?

jaylon reed - rfr - now he might have played in four or less games and redshirted. found no stats on him.

If you're going to bitch about something at least know what you're bitching about.

Those three safeties were all 3*s coming out of JUCO and not all three of them were top 5 safeties.

Those four Dlinemen you mentioned are one of the reasons why state's Dline was so good. experienced quality backups. where will that aspect of the Dline come from in '19?

those four Dlinemen might be good but, I highly doubt one much less two will be a first round pick.

Not all pressure comes from Dline. Correct but numbers don't lie. State's starting Dline accounted for 18 sacks and 22 tfls

Sweat had 11.5 sacks and simmons had 15 tfls. That's some serious pressure in the backfield just from those two.

Dline starters in '18 - 170 tkls - 18 sks - 22 tfl

Dline subs in '18 - 77 tkls - 3.5 sks - 13.5 tfl

Plain as day there was no drop off in production when the starters were on the sideline

football in general and SEC in particular to win the game you need to win the LOS.
