3/9, 18 yards, 1 TD/0 INT in a 14-7 win vs Vanderbilt

But yea, they protected him quite a bit and gave him as many easy throws as possible.

He did go 3 for 9 against Vandy. He averaged under 20 attempts per game. He finished the season with 268 attempts which was 12th in the SEC.

If Kentucky caught a lead the staff just decided to grind people out on the ground and let the defense close it out. I think mostly due to Wilson's inexperience but he also played from Miss State to Middle Tennessee game in November with a right knee injury. His stats when he did get attempts were decent. It would also help if we had more than one deep threat because he does throw a fantastic deep ball.
