Supposedly when Dave Jorn was here he went to watch him pitch and when he went to talk to him after a game he walked passed him like he wasn’t even there. Huge LSU fan pretty much his whole life but that gave me the wrong impression you can at least show some respect so I don’t care much for him

They apparently have an uncle or cousin that played for LSU in the early 2000s.

Kaleb Hill and Jaden Hill aren't relatives unless I'm wrong.
I don't know the situations but baseball scholarships are a never cut a dry issue because they're all percentage based and how much you can offer based on who you have returning plus any academic scholarships or other needs based scholarships that some schools can offer to certain candidates.
Jaden Hill had a former relative play at LSU and he's kin to Arkansas cornerback Ladarrius Bishop and Arkansas 2021 baseball commit Braylon Bishop who is top 5 nationally.

Yeah, not sure if they're related, and tracking the scholarship thing, just wondering if we ever even had a chance. Maybe we didn't have room, maybe they weren't interested regardless, but it sounds like they were both pretty highly rated prospects.

If I recall I believe Jaden was expected to be a fairly high sign out of HS by the MLB draft but his arm started bothering him at the end of last year and he's not pitched much at all for LSU this year.

My understanding is that DVH didn't think Jaden Hill would make it to college.

Idk I just know what I was told from another coach in south Arkansas who said jaden hill was kind of a punk because he acted like he was better than Dave jorn. And the guy telling me this wasn’t even a Razorback fan but he said he felt like that showed some immaturity on jadens part to at least show some respect to a guy that is highly revered in the game of baseball
