It hurts teams that don't shoot 3s as much. Teams like Auburn who shoot a lot it doesn't really hurt because we shoot enough that we'll still get into a rhythm, a little bit if extra space won't make a huge difference. We weren't exactly taking a lot of our 3s from right against the line anyway, we were already shooting most of them from distance or further.

In terms of ability and talent to make the shot, it won't hurt us. I do think Harper and Brown had a lot of success taking deeper threes because the opposing team wasn't defending that far outside. With the line being moved, defenses will adjust to be out there making it more difficult to snatch those few deep threes we needed the past two seasons.
