I thought the hosts were usually decided before the end of a conference tourney? I’m sure I’m wrong. In that case, if state won how high of a seed could you see us?

Typically they are. They actually used to be announced during the championship game. Remember being at the title game in 2010 and the hosts being posted in the 4th or 5th inning.

State is locked into a top 8 seed. My guess would be 3 or 4 regardless of what happens this week
