I’m not wrong. One guy doing something one time is an exception not a rule. Yes, anyone can have one great recruiting class or one great season for that matter. Tennessee is not going to return to what they were on a consistent basis. That’s returning to glory in my eyes. You’re never going to be a consistent power unless you blindly hit the jackpot in the coaching arena. Your last 3 coaching hires have been coaches from the same arena that schools like State and OM hire their coaches. Lower level G5 head coaches or an up and coming assistant. You are a nice, mid level SEC job. Nothing more.
