Arkansas: 10 and 10
10 public 4-year colleges (5 are in the University of Arkansas System), too many honestly for a small state.
University of Arkansas-Fayetteville
UA-Fort Smith
UA-Little Rock
UA-Pine Bluff
UA-Monticello
Arkansas State University
University of Central Arkansas
Arkansas Tech University
Southern Arkansas University
Henderson State University
10 private 4 year colleges.

We are blessed with an overabundance of small colleges in this state. Consolidate them into 5 colleges and we'd be able to invest more money per school and offer a higher quality of education.
