You know, once the NCAA is on campus (and they are at LSU, the AD said this) it can and will expand to other sports. Namely football.

Statute of limitations can't save LSU like with the Penn St, Notre Dame and other schools.
1. This IS a melt, a YUGE one.

2. Statute of limitations means the NCAA can't punish that particular offense.

It doesn't prevent them from launching an investigation into a school if there is suspicion of WRONG DOING.

They can't launch an investigation without probable cause.

Even if they did, statute of limitations will apply. Can't punish anything more than 4 years ago.

LSU's happened less than a calendar year.
