I agree just like women's basketball, people started noticing when we win. Just like a lot of schools in the SEC like Alabama or LSU have gotten into Gymnastics and Softball.

I'm surprised about Texas A&M too but California is the big softball State and for whatever reason the teams in the PAC 12 have been taken over by the SEC. We've really become a dominant softball league. But as I've said other teams have surpassed us which infuriates me because in year 8, we should be much further along.

I agree we need some new life. New perspectives. For instance this isn't the barometer but look at a program like Ole Miss. We were much better than them when Vann got here. During her tenure, they have surpassed us and have won the SEC Tournament and made a super Regional. Our program has only won 1 SEC Tournament Game under Vann and we've never made a Super Regional in our programs history

Mia Davidsons really good hitting but you have to have 1 maybe even 2 dominant pitchers in the SEC to win and MSU is missing that this year.

I'm looking at some candidates rn. I know in softball it's SEC/PAC 12 Assistant or other head coach. We could probably take a Big Ten or a few Big 12/ACC schools that don't value softball like we did with Lemonis for Baseball.

Definitely 2 pitchers to mix it up.

Impressive resume. Or this one? We couldn't take a look at a Alabama-Hunstville coach? .752 win pct. over 22 years. That's impressive.
