What I remember most about him was when LSU played Tennessee at home. The DKE house had a huge nose outside with white lines in front of it. The sheet hanging read, “the only two things on the line are Mike Archer’s job and Reggie cobb’s Nose”

He was dismissed prior to the game at LSU.
In 1988 Cobb ran for 52 yards on 16 carries in a 34-9 blowout of Tennessee, in what I believe was LSU's first win ever in Knoxville.
