Well that’s false.
Jombo Fisher is at A&M because of F. King Alexander. He thought he would be in line for a position in hillary’s Cabinet. He didn’t want to have to explain paying a coach 10 million (or whatever the buyout was) not to coach when he was also asking for more money from the state. So he shut down the whole thing.

This still doesn't help the argument that the state of Louisiana / LSU Athletics isn't poor
