93-69 (1st wildcard)

You are feeling more optimistic than I. Having a tough time seeing a 3 win increase over last year when I remember that the Braves did this against the struggling East:

Marlins: 14-5
Met: 13-6
Phillies: 12-7
Nationals: 10-9

Total: 49-27

They were 41-45 against the rest of baseball.

If the East is as improved as people are thinking this year, the Braves need to (1) be improved themselves and (2) play better out of the division this year.

I think we will get a few more home wins this year. We had the worst home record of all teams that made the playoffs. Only 43 wins at home, 38 losses. I'd like to think we can get that total closer to 50 home wins. We won 47 road games which was by far the best in the division and tied for 3rd in the MLB.

Also, I noticed we had a better ERA, fewer given up hits, a fewer HR's given up than any other NL East team. I didn't pay attention to the other teams pitching moves, but it looks as though we may have the edge.
