I hate that shite. It makes a nice looking lawn, but you can't have like garden beds anywhere near it unless you intend to forever be pulling it out. I've seen it climb over edging, go under edging, seed into beds, you name it.

frickin sucks.

I like the idea of NOT using turf grass at all.

ETA: there's a large indigenous plant nursery up in Wisconsin (can't remember the name right now) that sells a "no mow" native grass mix. It's all of the dwarfed varieties of prairie grasses found here in the US. Things like side oats and prairie drop seed. That shite looks good as a lawn, IMO. It makes your place look like a legit meadow versus a manacured turf. Which means you'll have all the birds from all around all winter long without having to buy bird seed for them. especially if you throw some flowers out like purple cone flower and black eyed Susan.

the primo lawn and garden center where I live is owned by someone in my general neighborhood who has a plush Bermuda lawn, so if I run into any issues I'll bet I can get great advice from them at their store
