for the folks knocking quartz saying it looks like crap and will go out of style, quartz has come a long way in the past 10-15 years. You can now get quartz that looks exactly like marble and granite. Plus it isn't porous, doesn't stain, and is harder so less likely to chip. This is also why quartz now costs more than granite and marble.

IT doesn’t cost more than marble and granite necessarily . THere are slabs of quartz that are cheap just like entry level slabs of granite and marble that are cheap. The difference is you have ultra exotic slabs of granite, marble and quartzite that are five thousand and more wholesale. You don’t have quartz slabs at that price.

Lol no. Every slab of “marble like” quartz we saw at Triton or Select Stone had a clear difference to marble or quartzite.
