not one penny of that debt will be paid off by a TAX or a student fee

The hotels benefit from the existence of the stadium and benefit from the increased demand for hotel space. They were all on board with the hotel tax. They wanted the expansion.

The student fee is an increase in the SPORTS PASS cost. It's VOLUNTARY, dipshit. It amounts to a whopping $10 per game increase in student ticket prices.

In short, shut the frick up, Randy.

Beginning in the fall, every Texas A&M student will see an increase in the university advancement fee increase of $2.42 per credit hour, which comes out to $36.30 per semester for full-time students. Additionally, student sports pass prices will rise by $11.48 per home game, or $80.36 for a seven-game season.

Aggy regents vote to raise student fees to pay off football stadium debt
