The Roswell Daily Record (the paper that originally broke the Roswell crash story) reports that the ranch where the event occurred has been sold to a cattle ranching company as of November 27th, 2018. During last year’s Roswell festival, the owners allowed the public to visit the site for the first time since 1947, which lies some 75 miles northwest of town.
The parcel is part of a larger land deal which transferred ownership of the original Foster Ranch to the Dinwiddie Cattle Company. Owner Tom Dinwiddie told the Daily Record “I just don’t know a whole lot about it, The guy who is running the ranch over there for me knows quite a bit about it, and after we kind of get our feet on the ground running it, we will do some more talking about it and figuring out what we want to do.”

This is actually brilliant bait. Aliens love cows. They’ll be back.

If they were smart they'd turn it into a tourist site and charge admission to all the suckers who are willing to pay to see a piece of dirt where a weather balloon crash landed in 1947.

I'm sure it is to you.

You've clearly never read the book by the man who went into the amazon rain forest and did drugs with natives where he was elevated to a higher plain and met our lizard alien overlords in their dimension

You two make fun all you want but I can read the insecurity in your words. There is a part of you that knows the crash was real.

That is the most white person thing ever.

Crash was real, the "footage" that got released in the 90s was faked.

I'm afraid that didn't make my high school's summer reading list.

I wish it had made mine. My school made me read some book about this indian girl who gets bought to be some dude's wife. said dude is sick and dies, so she winds up being abused by his parents before escaping, being raped by an artist, and then starting a quilting business.
I don't know what I was supposed to get from that but it was a sad book

My school never had a summer reading list. Guess I was still going to cave man school.
The indian girl book was a required read during the school year
Only dickens I had to read was gift of the majei,
Worst book I had to read was fast food nation, worse than of mice and men

Take that back. Steinbeck is an American treasure.
