That is some serious mental gymnastics there my friend.
Ole piss should have gotten worse.
To the people mentioning UNC and their scandal, from what I understand, the reason they didn’t get anything is because it was not just athletes enrolled in these fake on line classes(means athletes don’t get special treatment) and, probably the most important part, they claimed the athletes in these classes actually did the work.
Whether that work was gluing cotton balls to blue construction paper and calling it clouds may not be sufficient to pass a meteorology class at most institutions, the NCAA is not allowed to determine if it is or not.
I agree it’s complete bull shite, but by the letter of the law (not intent) they followed the rules. Also UNC refuses to cooperate and kept a tight fricking ship during the whole ordeal. After Missouri just got hosed, I expect this to be the case moving forward for every future infraction. These universities need to look at the NCAA as most people look at cops, they are not out to clear you and you should always have a liar, I mean lawyer present when interrogated.

Where you are flawed here is that Dean Smith set up the classes in the first place. Clearly a violation but they were not going to let Dean Smiths image get tarnished or the banners to come down in the Dean Dome. NCAA did the same for Wooden at UCLA.
