Actually, very impressed with Aggie crowds in both football and basketball. They show up well.

It is the product of former Gov Ann Richards. She stopped the use of taxpayer funds to approve a basketball facility. It had to be approved as an all purpose facility to hold graduation, etc...
I will not say bad things about the dead but she was the last democrat to be elected to a statewide post and the Dems have still not recovered from her (poor) leadership.
It is not a horribly place to play but it is pretty close. We apologize to the SEC for the place.
