It’s hard to pick one. LSU has had quite a few impactful players over the decades. The classics are the likes of YA Tittle, Billy Cannon, Tommy Casanova. Then there are guys like Dalton Hilliard and Kevin Faulk. More recently Josh Reed, Patrick Peterson and Glen Dorsey. It’s hard to pick one.
ETA: Mis-read the title. Thought it said player.
My answer has to be the Earth Quake game. Hodson to Fuller is absolutely legendary. Also, the ‘58 punt return against Ole Miss is a classic. Have to toss up 2007 Flynn to Byrd v. Auburn. The fumble recovery against Bama in ‘07 was pretty big to end that game. Or Chad Jones slobber knocker of a hit against Arky on ‘09. Trindon Holliday’s KO return for 92 yards at Memorial Stadium in ‘06. LaRon Landry’s smack on John Parker Wilson on ‘06. There are a ton of plays that stand out. The 2005 srason was one of the greatest season in LSU history as far as I’m concerned. That season was full of absolutely ridiculous plays.
