I stayed here recently and was blown away by the transformation of the place after doing a historic tour.

Of course, it took casino money to make it happen. The hotels are related in both being historic railroad era built. Also, forgot the story of the owner of the French lick place being killed at the Arlington back in the day, might have been gangster related. Oaklawn ownership buying the Arlington is probably its only hope for a good renovations unless Alice Walton would be into it.
