Your point?

Notre Dame skipping games specifically a conference title game against Clemson that would have knocked them out is ridiculous.

Did Alabama deserve to be in the CFP last year? If so, why.

Yes

Because there was no team with a comparable enough body of work across the number of games

Unlike Notre Dame this year having a team with a better sub set of the fewer number of games Notre Dame played

Yes, because the next best option got beat twice and one of those losses was a blowout to Iowa.

BAMA's only loss was to a top 10 team on the road in a rivalry game.
