There have been 52 individual teams in the BCS or CFP since 1998, but only 19 different schools. Top 5 participants in the BCS or CFP(wins) - Alabama 8(5), Oklahoma 7(1), Florida St 5(2), Ohio St. 5(2), Clemson 4(1). Saban just makes the most of his opportunities when he gets there.
Basketball? Didn't John Wooden destroy that back in the 1960s? I'm almost positive he did, and I'd bet anything the OP will back me up on this.
