Not leaving early, may not go to the league at all. Will break a few UGA records

I love Fromm but have you ever seen any decent QB ignore every route read to check down more often? Perhaps he can be cured of this and I know Swift is a great weapon but dang.

Those "check downs" are usually the right play. With our patchwork OL this season, he hasn't had as much time to throw as he wants on every play. He has to make fast decisions and get rid of the ball fast. He looks for one and two and then checks down if it's open and there is pressure. He's been pretty good at finding the right reads generally and sometimes that's the check down to a big play-maker in Swift.

Much of this pressure you speak of is false. In fact, most of his checkdowns are made when we actually pass block well. I get it. You see a guy like Swift one on one and you just want it. But you can’t take it every time.

He doesn't. However you always want to try to get the ball to your play makers and Swift is one of the best on our team.

I'd like to see him work on his quickness and athleticism in the off-season. His feet are stuck in cement sometimes; need him to be able to extend plays better.

He doesn't have any. He's never going to have any.

Jake Fromm has came close to beating Bama twice. Who else does that? Even the great kyler Murray didn't come as close to beating Bama as Jake did.

Let me know when coming close counts. Last time I checked it only counts in horse shoes and hand grenades. He's also gone bye-bye in the 4th quarter twice against Bama.

Jake is the disputed starter for the next 2 year because of those 2 games so don't understand your point

My point is Jake is not a big time QB and we aren't winning a national title with him. I hope I have to eat those words.

What you mean he is not winning a Championship? He's a 5* QB, his rbs 5*, ol 5*, WRs 5* etc.. Big is not big time? Just sent 2 5* QBs packing, one of which was the highest rating player ever uga has gotten in 100 year of playing football.

We has been pretty big in some big games for us. He's still only a true sophomore and has helped lead us to an overtime national championship appearance and nearly knocked off the #1 team in the country in the SECCG this season. He's done more in terms of wins and getting us where we want to be than any of our best QBs since Charley Trippi. He's still growing and getting better but he needs help from his team, as well.

The key word there is nearly. He disappeared in the last 20 minutes in both games against Bama.
