I think the same guy has a place called Ovenbird. It is outstanding. Best place I have been to in Birmingham. Delicious.
I am no huge flag waver for BHM, but the food here has gone through the roof over the last 10 years. Lots of top tier chefs opening up new places.

Yup, in Pepper Place. Chris Hastings, he won the James Beard for Best Chef in the South about 5 years ago.
